As Master Instructor for E-Line Media’s Make Room! learning programs, and a Unity Certified Associate, I direct, teach, and design curricula for after-school game design programs and summer camp programs in New York City and New Jersey. In our courses, kids ages 13-18 learn the ropes of game design and development, create original games and compete in design challenges, all while building Computer Science, design, art and collaboration skills.
I teach in the Game Design & Interactive Media program at Pratt Institute. My course, Storytelling & Interactive Narrative Design, highlights the central structural and aesthetic role narrative brings to game design.
In the summer of 2018, I was a Teaching Fellow in the Kenyon Review Young Writers Workshop. This two-week program helps students develop their creative and critical abilities with language—to become better, more productive writers and more insightful thinkers. As a Fellow, I had the privilege of shadowing poet and teacher Richie Hoffman.
